This bag is handmade by the Wayuu people that inhabits the Guajira Peninsula in northern  Colombia. For the Wayuu women, weaving is part of their way of life and it is used to communicate their emotions and wisdom. The bag that you have in your hands has been designed by Guanabana Handmade, thus this piece is unique. We are offering a high quality Wayuu bag as we only work with the top weavers. Guanabana Handmade contributes to the sustainability of the Wayuu community by providing employment to over 500 Wayuu women throughout the year. Help us value this handcrafted beauty.
