We cut the twine into 16"  strips.

We picked 3 colors to braid together

1. Divide the twine into three equal sections.
2. Cross the right section over the middle section.
3. Cross the left section over the new middle section.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3, alternating which section crosses over

 We secured the bracelets with a boy scout knot so that it wouldn't slip.
